Tom Petty In Our Neck Of The Woods

Some of the first and only chords Jim taught me on the guitar or at least the only ones I remember were from a Tom Petty song. I love so many of his songs, and I can't wait to see him in concert! This will be my first chance to see him live. We have our cheap seat tickets plus one for a friend and I'm hoping Jim will be off work so we can all go together. It's funny to call $75 tickets the cheap seats, but to be on the floor was way more than we were willing to spend. I'm too cheap to pay that much for any concert. I'll post more after the show! ~Rock on.

T.S.O. -Here we come!

We've got our tickets! We are die-hard fans of Trans Siberian Orchestra, and we've been able to go see them several times. This year the show is changing, and there will be a new story line from a new album. I can't wait.

If you've never heard of T.S.O., they are worth looking up. Most people when I tell them we are going to see an orchestra, I can tell by the looks they give me they aren't picturing what we will be seeing. Going to see T.S.O. is like going to a rock concert/orchestra/opera/play,all in one, it has something for everyone! Their show we've seen several times is a Christmas theme which is easy to follow. Now that they are doing a new album, it will still be a Christmas theme, but a new story. The show is in December, and this will be our gift to each other.

Welcome to our blog. We are a family of 3, plus one doggy. We love music, and all things musical. This will be my free spot. A place for anything and everything that is relevant or not. I love blogging. I just started in February, but I think I've needed this outlet all my life. Hubs plays guitar, I love to sing, and our little guy will be a musician someday.
